Indi

Dear Diary, Fiddlesticks! Went outside this morning to find a cardboard box on the deck. Love boxes so I investigated. It was already occupied. Could have coped with that. No problem chasing some cat out of a box I want. But no, Carol was right behind me saying, "Lucky, no. Leave it alone." Then I heard the squeals and saw the little rats under Indi. Great. Now we've got three more mouths to feed. If these stupid outside cats would stop shooting out little ones I could be living like a real king. There are already seven of these little things running around over by the barn. Carol really should put a stop to this kind of activity. But, knowing her, she'll be giving scrawny old Indi some of my wet food now. She thinks I don't know that she sneaks my cans out of the house and takes them to the barn babies every once in a while. Skinny Cali mom, who owns five of the little twits, is always coming to the kitchen door begging. Heck, she even ran into the house once. That was pretty funny. She ran into the house, realized she was somewhere she'd never been before, and made a dash to get back outside before the door closed behind her. Cali's got some serious mental problems, if you ask me. She wants Carol to give her special attention, but she frightened to death of humans. Go figure. If she had a clue, she'd know ya gotta make friends with the humans. Oh well, better for me that she's scared of humans. Don't need any more of these guys kissing up to my meal ticket.
